2002-06-30  update: moving next year?

Oh, hey, yeah. What's up, DiaryLand? This place has added a lot of new features that seem awfully familiar, but hey, that's the journalling marketplace for ya. Most of it strikes me as too much trouble so I'll just stick to the ol' format.

So. I've been at work almost a year (August 20 specifically) and I can't believe how fast time goes at that place. June flew by. And as for June's stats, I have the secondmost number of approved reports in our department. Woo. Hoo.

What else? I have driving lessons next Saturday (the first of three sessions, with another in late July and the last in August) and I'm going to Charleston on the 12th.

And excitingly (well, for me, anyway), A) I am planning on getting myself a c. 2000 Saturn SL2 this year, and next summer my friend Amy is graduating from UNC-G and moving to Atlanta, and it looks like we will be roommates. Incidentally, the place we want (though we might not end up there, but I hope we do) is a sister of the complex I am in currently, and is also where my friend Manashi lives, and where Matt gave music lessons last year (and probably will this year). Speaking of Matt, I really miss him. Oh well. Two weeks.

I am excited about the moving but also I want to be able to judge if this is a good idea or not. Also, there's so much work and logic involved. It seems like it was easy for most people to move out, with less time and money than I will have, so hopefully it will be fine. But a lot can happen in a year. The car thing, though, that needs to be resolved. Man, I am so behind for my age. Ha.
